Stephane Farouze is the Chairman & Founder of 4F Investment Partners and the Chairman & Founder of the 8F Asset Managements, company regulated in Singapore.

Previoulsy, until 2015, Stephane was Deutsche Bank’s Former Chairman of Alternative for Deutsche Asset & Wealth management. Prior he was Head of Alternatives and Fund Solutions (until March 2015)  and Member of the Asset & Wealth Management Executive Committee. Stephane spent 3 years as senior board member of both Deutsche Asset management and the Private Bank with total assets under management of $1.3 Trillion. As Head of Asset and Fund Solutions his team included more than 200 professionals and he was directly responsible for a total of $50bn of assets in Private equity, Hedge Funds and Retirement Solutions.

During the time that Stephane worked and served as the Global Head of Deutsche Investment Bank Fund Derivatives and Hybrids, Stephane and his team won the Risk Magazine award for ‘Hedge Fund Derivatives House of the Year’ 6 times in a row, the HFM award for ‘Best Overall Investment Platform’ and ‘Best Managed Account Platform’ twice, as well as various UCITS Platform and Product awards.

He has BS in Applied Arts and Sciences and a Business Administration Degree in Finance from San Diego State University; Awarded ‘Best Active Manager’ by Risk Magazine in 2002.

Stephane together with his team is the group that has ever won so many Risk Awards.

From 2006 to 2015 : Hedge Funds- Built the largest managed account platform in the world. Over 10 years was able to raise USD $10bn in AuM for Hedge funds & UCITS across all strategies and financing activities (institutional clients & Private clients); expertise across structuring, marketing, investment management, trading & risk management.

Head of AFS- During his years as Head of AFS Stephane was in charge of Deutsche Bank’s private equity business which has an extensive primary, secondary, direct and debt investing experience. The PE platform today manages USD 13bn in AuM across all strategies and has seasoned investment team of over 30 investments. Moreover, in 2009 Stephane stated buying gated and suspended Hedge Funds share classes which lead to the creation of DB’s Aggregator fund which manages over $1b in this strategy today.
